Comics: Sequential Storytelling

Friday, January 24, 2025 at 7:00 PM until 10:00 PMCentral Standard Time UTC -06:00

In this hands-on workshop you'll scratch pencils, sling ink, and slay the proverbial narrative dragon with all the new arrows in your cartooning quiver. In addition to practical demos, you'll see examples of unique mini-comics and zines, and examine how format and function work hand in hand.  You’ll be pushed to dig deeper into stories you’ve imagined in the past and pull out new dynamic ideas.  Along with learning cartooning basics, you'll be able to incorporate other materials and produce a finished work.
